the Despicable case of the dog that didnt bite
Two years ago, I ended up in crown court because a woman thought she could make money using a ‘no win,no fee’ solicitor. Claiming a dog that was with me, bit her. Trouble was, the police that seized my dog, killed it. then they find out she was a scam artist.
what do you think happened next? Yep. fabricate some witness statements, alter CCTV footage to change the time, get the claimant and her mates to re-do the CCTV to fit the fabricated statements. 6 months after the event. Photoshop injuries for evidence. Medical evidence was from her wisdom teeth op, in 2007!. Case gets thrown out because they done such a crap and Amateur job of it all.
They could have just said Sorry…
now its my turn, 'Victim’ gets tagged on social media days after the incident with no injuries. Witness who was supposed to have been working in the Petrol Station and made statement claiming she gave first aid was not on shift that night. (outed on Facebook).
waiting for the IPCC to do something about it, sure, that is going to work. Moral of the story? if you want something doing, do it yourself..Watch this space.
